Aviapartner, the leading independent provider of Airport Ground services for Passenger Airlines across Europe has announced the proposed sale of Aviapartner Cargo nv, the entity that provides cargo services at Brussels Airport (BRU) only.
The proposed sale to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company based in Singapore, is subject to customary conditions and approvals. Aviapartner and WFS are committed to working closely with all stakeholders throughout this process to ensure its successful completion.
Aviapartner core business is to provide Airport Ground services to Passenger Airlines. The carve out of the Cargo activity doesn't affect its services to Passengers Airlines and Executive / Private airlines at Brussels Airport.
Aviapartner operates today in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, South Africa, Angola, Bulgaria, Greece and Switzerland. It employs over 20,000 dedicated professionals serving the needs of over 120 million passengers and 400 Airlines every year.
Aviapartner has grown its network from 15 to ~90 airports, in 11 countries across Europe and Africa, over the past 10 years. It has recently started operations in Angola serving airlines at the newly opened Luanda Airport as well as in Sofia, Bulgaria. Aviapartner also recently opened a VIP Passenger Lounge in Thessaloniki Greece.
Aviapartner has successfully won or retained over 30 airport licences in Europe in the last 18 months. Aviapartner strategy is focused on serving Passengers Airlines and airports in both commercial and executive or Private Aviation.
